ACTIVITY POINTS

OVERVIEW

The Activity Point System was designed for students to become more involved in our program and to connect with our community.

HOW TO EARN ACTIVITY POINTS

The point system will reset every semester to ensure that every individual receives an equal amount of time to accumulate the most activity points possible in each period.

General meetings, workshops, community service, being a part of the Subcommittee, and member of the Scholarship Committee are the ways members can get activity points.

POINT SCALE

  • General CSF Meetings: 1 Point per Meeting

  • Workshops/Events: 1 Point per Attendance

  • Subcommittee: 2 Points per Workshop + Community Service hours

  • Scholarship Committee: 2 points per Service + Community Service hours

  • Community Service: TBD

WORKSHOPS

Workshops will be held throughout the semester to teach our members about various life skills that will be important in college and the workforce. Please refer to our Instagram and google classroom to stay updated about our upcoming workshops and events.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

More information about Community Service will be announced in the near future.

Community Service opportunities are offered at every general meeting and can also be found in the classwork tab under the "Community Service Opportunity" section of our google classroom!

CSF SUBCOMMITTEE

During the Fall semester, only seniors with previous CSF membership are eligible to apply. Next semester, we will reopen Subcommittee Applications to a larger group.

Subcommittee Members are CSF student-volunteers that will be helping the Officers lead workshops. The Subcommittee will receive 2 activity points for leading each workshop and community service hours, to be approved by the CSF advisor.

CSF SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

Juniors and Sophomores are eligible to participate in this committee during the Spring Semester.

Members of the Scholarship Committee will actively commit to looking for and gathering scholarships on a weekly basis. The scholarship committee will work towards providing CSF members many opportunities to financially assist their academic and career goals.

INCENTIVES

Prizes will be announced at a later date.

Prizes will be distributed and announced to top-point earners in each grade level at the

at the end of each semester during the general CSF meeting.
